Established by our CEO and Founder Ingrid Owens-Gonzalez in the summer of 2022. My Speech Place is a practice born out of the dream to reach and support as many families as possible. To do that we rely on three core values our CCC's: Community, Coaching, and Collaboration.

About Ingrid: ​

Welcome to My Speech Place! I am Ingrid Owens-Gonzalez. I have lived in New Mexico and practiced in New Mexico since 2011. I attended New Mexico State University while being a Texas resident and met a boy from Farmington, he became my husband and we decided to start our family here - in the Four Corners area.
​
I have a Bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University in Psychology with a double-major in Languages and Linguistics. I have Master's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
​
I have been an SLP since the Fall of 2011. I have worked in the SNF setting, in Early Intervention setting, but my true passion is in the School setting. I love working with the K-5 population but have experience with Preschool and Middle school as well.
